  1. When using 4NT to ask for the number of top 3 cards in

  3. in a minor suit, the bid of 5NT means that the
  4. partnership has
  5.    1. first round control in all three side suits.
  6.    2. the top three cards in trumps.
  7.    3. sufficient values to bid at least a small slam.

  9.   The 5NT bid asks partner to bid a grand slam if
  10.    1. the combined point count is 35 or higher (OPC + RPC).
  11.    2. partner has an excellent second suit (usually 5 or
  12.       more with the top three cards in the suit).
  13.    3. some other sound reason.

  15.     If a grand slam bid is not possible, then
